QUALITY CONTROL

The quality of Magnetic Beads Virus DNA/RNA Extraction Plate Kit is tested on a lot-to-lot basis according to Geneaid's ISO-certified quality management system by isolating viral DNA/RNA from a 200 µl  sample.

Figure 1 . The synthetic SARS-CoV-2 genomic RNA was extracted from 200 μl of VTM using Geneaid Magnetic Beads Virus DNA/RNA Extraction Plate Kit combined with SYNC Nucleic Acids Extraction System (3 replication). 6 μl of extracted viral RNA from 80 μl eluate was used for COVID-19 detection using a FDA EUA certified COVID-19 real-time PCR detection kit (detecting SARS-CoV-2 N gene and E gene). The results showed that 9 x 10² copies of SARS-CoV-2 can be detected.
